Stand-alone LED street lights powered by solar PV + battery. An MPPT charge controller senses dusk/dawn (via PV voltage or LDR), turns the light ON at sunset / OFF at sunrise, and protects the battery with LVD/LVR. Optional dim & motion logic extends runtime for monsoon or long nights.

Parts Used:

1. PV Module – 12/24 V system panel(s) with MC4 connectors & tilt bracket.
2. Charge Controller (MPPT preferred) – 12/24 V auto, dusk/dawn output, LVD/LVR, programmable dimming, temp probe.
3. Battery – LiFePO₄ (light, deep-cycle, 80% DoD) or sealed SLA/GEL (budget; use ≤50% DoD).
4. LED Luminaire – 12–30 W DC input with constant-current driver, Type II/III optics, IP65/IK08.
5. Pole & Hardware – 4–6 m pole, outreach arm, stainless fasteners, anti-theft clamps.
6. Protection – DC fuses/MCB, SPD Type II (PV & load), DC isolator, cable glands.
7. Sensors (optional) – LDR (if controller lacks PV-dusk), PIR/microwave motion sensor for boost mode.
8. Cables & Boxes – UV-rated DC cable, junction box (IP65), earthing kit.
