The Gas Leakage Detector with Alarm is a safety project designed to detect the presence of harmful gases such as LPG, methane, or propane in the environment. It uses an MQ-series gas sensor (MQ-2/MQ-5) connected to a microcontroller (Arduino/8051/ESP32) to continuously monitor gas concentration levels.
When the gas concentration exceeds a safe threshold, the system immediately activates a buzzer/alarm and LED indicators to alert people nearby. In advanced versions, it can also trigger an exhaust fan or send an IoT/SMS notification to the user for quick action.
This project is highly useful for homes, hotels, industries, and laboratories where gas leakage can lead to accidents or fire hazards.
