The Automatic Traffic Signal Control System is designed to manage traffic flow intelligently by automatically adjusting signal timings based on vehicle density at intersections. Unlike conventional fixed-timer systems, this project uses sensors or cameras to detect traffic volume and dynamically control red, yellow, and green lights.

This system helps reduce congestion, waiting time, and fuel consumption while improving road safety. It can also be integrated with emergency vehicle priority and pedestrian crossing features.
