Clap-operated appliances controllerh

The Clap-Operated Appliances Controller is a simple yet smart automation project that allows users to control home appliances (like lights, fans, or TV) using the sound of a clap. The system uses a microphone sensor to detect clapping sound, which is processed by a microcontroller (Arduino/8051). When the clap sound crosses a set threshold, the controller activates a relay module, switching the connected appliance ON or OFF.

This project is highly useful for elderly or differently-abled individuals, and also adds a touch of convenience and modernity to home automation.

Parts Used:
  1. Arduino / 8051 / PIC Microcontroller – Main controller.
  2. Microphone Sound Sensor Module – Detects clap sound.
  3. Relay Module – Switches appliances ON/OFF.
  4. Home Appliances (Light, Fan, etc.) – Load devices.
  5. Power Supply (5V/12V Adaptor) – To power the system.
  6. Resistors, Capacitors, PCB, and Enclosure – For circuit assembly.
  7. Optional LED Indicator – To show device status.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT

Advantages:
  1. Hands-Free Operation – No need to press switches.
