Gesture Controlled Robot

A Gesture Controlled Robot is a mobile robotic system that responds to hand gestures for movement and operation. Using an accelerometer or gyroscope sensor placed on a wearable glove or handheld device, the robot detects gesture data and sends commands wirelessly via RF, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi. This project enhances human–machine interaction and is widely applied in automation, surveillance, and assistance systems. The robot’s movement—forward, backward, left, right, and stop—is controlled intuitively by the user’s hand movements, making it easy to operate without traditional joysticks or remotes.

Parts Used:
  1. Microcontroller – Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or ESP32 for control processing.
  2. Accelerometer/Gyroscope Sensor – Detects tilt and movement of the hand.
  3. Wireless Module – RF transmitter-receiver, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi.
  4. Motor Driver Circuit – Controls motor speed and direction.
  5. DC Motors & Wheels – Provide movement to the robot.
  6. Chassis Frame – Holds all mechanical and electronic parts.
  7. Power Supply – Rechargeable batteries.
