Motion-activated lights and alarm

The Motion-Activated Lights and Alarm project is a security and energy-saving system that automatically turns on lights and triggers an alarm when motion is detected. It uses a PIR (Passive Infrared) motion sensor to sense human or animal movement within a certain range.

When motion is detected, the Arduino/microcontroller activates a relay module that switches on the lights and simultaneously powers a buzzer/alarm system. This setup is useful for home security, street safety, parking areas, offices, and warehouses, where unauthorized entry or presence needs to be detected instantly.

Parts Used:

PIR Motion Sensor – Detects movement based on infrared radiation.
Arduino UNO / 8051 / ESP32 – Main controller.
Relay Module – Switches lights and alarm ON/OFF.
LED Bulb / Tube Light – Load device for lighting.
Buzzer / Alarm Siren – Generates sound alert.
Power Supply (5V/12V Adaptor) – Powers controller and relays.
Switches & Indicators (Optional) – For manual control and status display.
