Wireless power transfer system

The Wireless Power Transfer System is an innovative project designed to transmit electrical power without physical wires, using the principle of electromagnetic induction. The system consists of a transmitter coil and a receiver coil. When AC power is supplied to the transmitter coil, it generates a varying magnetic field. The receiver coil, placed within range, captures this magnetic field and induces a current, which can be used to power or charge devices.

This project demonstrates modern charging technology as used in wireless phone chargers, electric vehicles, biomedical implants, and smart gadgets. It offers a safe, efficient, and convenient method of delivering power.

Parts Used:
  1. Transmitter Coil (Copper Winding) – Generates magnetic field.
  2. Receiver Coil (Copper Winding) – Receives induced current.
  3. High-Frequency Oscillator Circuit – Converts DC to high-frequency AC for transmission.
  4. Power Supply (12V/24V DC Adaptor) – Provides input power.
  5. Rectifier & Regulator Circuit – Converts AC from receiver coil into stable DC.
  6. Load Device (LED, Mobile, Small Fan, etc.) – Utilizes received power.
  7. Capacitors & MOSFETs – For tuning and efficient energy transfer.
  8. PCB & Enclosure – For safe circuit assembly.
